First off, the antlers above the building? They scream “our meat was alive five minutes ago.” If this BBQ joint doesn’t come with a side of unsolicited hunting stories and at least one Elvis impersonator, I’ll be shocked.
Now let’s talk about the squad. We’ve got a human BBQ totem pole going on. Two girls on shoulders like it’s cheer tryouts, but instead of a football field, it’s “Pop’s Southern Style BBQ,” where your uniform is an apron and a whole lot of confusion.
Top left girl looks like she’s ready to take off into the sky like “I believe I can fly”, while top right girl is throwing jazz hands like she just won “Best Side Dish” at a chili cook-off.
The two base girls? Legends. They look like they didn’t sign up for a workout but ended up in CrossFit anyway. The one in blue is holding on like she’s regretting every life choice that led to this moment, and the one in black is smiling but 100% internally screaming “my chiropractor’s gonna love this.”
Also, props to the “Come Try Our Milkshakes!!!” sign—because nothing says BBQ like dairy and regret.

Our Annual Shop With a Cop event is happening at Walmart this Monday December 16 beginning at 5:30PM. IF you are interested in volunteering your time, please join us in the Lawn and Garden section at that time.
We are close to our goal of taking 100 children shopping this year and this event could not happen without the tremendous support from our community. A huge thanks to all of you who have donated to this great cause.
